Date Night
Well, after months of lockdown and baby raising, Scott and I decided it was time for Date Night! Well, I decided, and suggested Scott might arrange something fun for us.

After a few more heavy hints at “how romantic it would be if you surprised me with a little evening out” and mentioning my favourite Borders eatery The Hoebridge, something got through and we were booked in for drinks and the babysitters were arranged!

I got this pinky polka dot number in the sale from Pretty Lavish and it has the dreamiest, flounciest cuffs that make me feel like the queen (that I am).

After a few (forced) selfies in front of the bamboo we set off for our first couple of hours just Mummy and Daddy time - it was lovely.
We enjoyed some bubbles, a few olives and finished the evening as we always do - with some gorgeous Espresso Martinis.
The Hoebridge has had a facelift during lockdown (wish I could say the same) and the decor, aesthetic and vibe makes it a wonderful place to be. We are always so well looked after and service from Kyle and the team is impeccable.

I left with a bit of vino wall envy - the wine display is really just amazing - I think we might need an upgrade! We can’t wait for our next date night, probably back again for a meal!
